There is no greater tragedy than a parent outliving their child. Unfortunately, this is an all too common reality for some families. Zoe’s Place is dedicated to assisting these families by providing a support network for families in Queensland with children suffering life threatening illnesses.
Zoe’s Place is currently developing a Respite and Hospice Centre in the Brisbane suburb of Mt Ommaney. Stage One of the development is already complete. The Centre will give respite accommodation and end of life care to children and their families, as well as provide a base from which to deliver support services for siblings and parents/carers.

This mission statement is based on the fact that our centres are integral parts of the communities in which they operate.
Each AMP Capital Shopping Centre is an active member of its local community and partakes in many community initiatives.
Mt Ommaney Centre integrates environmental compliance and enhancement into its normal property management processes and takes an active approach to managing the environmental impact of its functioning. Mt Ommaney Centre aims to continually improve direct environmental impact by reducing the usage of water and energy and managing water responsibly and reducing waste going to land fill. As a part of this vision Mt Ommaney Centre has installed a water recycling system which has saved over 20 million litres of water since it was installed in 2001.
The basis of the system is to recycle condensation that is created in the air-conditioning process for reuse in the cooling towers. The efficiency of this process has been optimised by positioning the tanks so as they are able to capture rain water as well allowing Mt Ommaney Centre to save approximately 5 million litres of water per annum.
